Its Friday 9Th. Sept. 6pm, and the temperature outside is 31 degs. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to realize I am sitting in S.W. France with my husband and four dogs at my beautiful pool. My Husband & I moved here 4 years ago & bought this beautiful villa.
I am 8 years younger than my husband, who is Freddy, which makes me 63. We decided to retire to France for a better quality way of life, beautiful countryside, slower pace, better summers, and just away from the fast-paced way of life. We came from Northern Ireland & at the time a hectic working life, so we hadn't experienced life as a retired couple in Northern Ireland. Believe me when I say, we were not unhappy living there, but we just wanted to experience a 'different way of life'. Now 4 years on we have decided to sell our beautiful villa and move back to Northern Ireland. Here are a few photographs of our villa taken from the front.
